Payments & deposits policy

Hosts set pickup and return windows; renters book scheduled appointment slots within those windows. Rental charges are based on the number of overnights (from start date to end date) and the rates shown at booking. Weekend pricing applies to Friday and Saturday overnights, which may be charged at a higher rate. A protection fee may be added to cover platform and transaction costs.
Hosts may require a deposit to secure the booking. Deposits are held and released according to platform rules—typically after the item is returned in agreed condition. Deductions may apply for damage, loss, or late return as set out in our Late returns policy.
Payment is due as indicated at checkout. Refunds for cancellations or disputes are handled in line with our Cancellation policy. Chargebacks and disputes should be raised through the platform before contacting your payment provider.
